Sauber's Kamui Kobayashi closed the penultimate pre- season test of the new Formula One season with the fastest lap time of the week at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

The Japanese driver's lap of 1min 22.312sec was more than 0.2sec quicker than Pastor Maldonado of Williams, with Briton Paul di Resta third in a Force India, while McLaren's Jenson Button was fourth in 1:23.200.
