Your support makes all the difference.The Formula One world champion, Kimi Raikkonen, will not be given preferential treatment over his Brazilian team-mate Felipe Massa this season, said Ferrari's new manager, Stefano Domenicali, yesterday.
Ferrari have shuffled their management line-up this year, despite also winning the constructors' championship last season after McLaren were fined $100m (£51m) and stripped of their constructors' points after a spying scandal.
The former sporting director Domenicali has replaced Jean Todt, who has reverted to his role of chief executive of the overall company. However, Domenicali plans few changes to a winning formula after the Finn's triumph last year.
"What counts are the rules of engagement, those are equal to last year," he said here at Ferrari's ski retreat in northern Italy. "The priority is the well-being of the team. In this sense, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa start off equal.
"For the good of the sport we need to look forward. The past is the past," he said of last year's controversies. "They are difficult wounds to heal, something happened which hurt the sport."
