Speculation surfaced at the Spanish Grand Prix a fortnight ago that Ferrari were again looking to poach the most decorated designer in Formula One history from one of their main rivals.
Newey did little to dispel the rumours at the time, saying: "I don't know. I need to think about it. At some point I am going to have to think about the future, but at the moment my focus is getting in front of the silver cars (Mercedes)."
Yet speaking ahead of this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix, Newey sought to clarify his position.
"I remain committed to Red Bull for the foreseeable future," the 55-year-old said in a short statement.
It is understood "foreseeable future" refers to years rather than months.
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has previously dismissed the gossip linking Newey to Ferrari as "an annual thing", and is confident his long-time friend and ally will not walk out on the team.
