Your support makes all the difference.Anthony Davidson was confirmed yesterday as the fourth British driver on the Formula One grid, when his career was saved by a last-minute deal that has rescued the Super Aguri team.
Agreement has been reached with the British Magma Group regarding the acquisition of the outfit. The deal has enabled the beleaguered team to make it to the Australian Grand Prix this weekend and they confirmed that Davidson and Takuma Sato will once again be their drivers.
Australian GP organisers have proposed changing the starting time of their race next year to save it from being scrapped. The head of Formula One, Bernie Ecclestone, had threatened to ditch the race from the calendar unless the organisers agreed to stage the race at night to fit in with European television audiences. The organisers have ruled that out, but are willing to push back the start even further next year after pushing back the start of Sunday's season-opening race from 2pm local time (3am GMT) to 3:30pm.
