England won the Cricket World Cup after beating New Zealand in a thriller at Lord’s.
Eoin Morgan’s men survived the drama of a super over after New Zealand's 241-8 was matched by England with Mark Wood run out from the final ball of the innings. Ben Stokes, who scored 84 in the chase, then returned alongside Jos Buttler to hit 15 from six balls before Martin Guptill was run out in dramatic fashion handing the tournament hosts the win.
Here's how one of the most dramatic matches in history played out:

Here come the teams, they make the walk through the Long Room in the Lords pavilion and out onto the pitch. The national anthems are sung and we are ready to go!
Martin Guptill and Henry Nicholls open up for New Zealand.
Chris Woakes will take the first over for England as he has all tournament.
0.0 NZL 1-0, Guptill 0, Nicholls 0, Woakes 0-1
WIDE first up for Woakes, Guptill had a wild swing at the ball, which swung a little and moved away from Guptill outside of the off stump.
0.4 NZL 1-0, Guptill 0, Nicholls 0, Woakes 0-1
Woakes follows up his wide with four dot balls. There's some movement in the air but Woakes has dragged his length back since the first ball. Guptill looks like he wants to be very aggressive.
0.5 NZL 5-0, Guptill 4, Nicholls 0, Woakes 0-5
FOUR! There it is, Guptill slashes one wide of Stokes at backward point and finds the boundary. Too wide from Woakes on that occasion.
1.0 - NZL 5-0, Guptill 4, Nicholls 0, Woakes 0-5 (1.0)
Good start from New Zealand and Martin Guptill. Both New Zealand openers have been lacking in runs and Guptill has decided to take the attack to England's bowlers.
Jofra Archer opens up at the other end.
1.3 - NZL 6-0, Guptill 4, Nicholls 0, Archer 0-0 (0.3)
Nicholls brushes a run off his thigh pad to get off strike. Guptill dabs one into the leg side and wants one but Nicholls sends him back.
1.5 - NZL 8-0, Guptill 6, Nicholls 0, Archer 0-2 (0.5)
Archer beats Guptill and there's a noise as the ball goes through to Buttler. England all appeal but Marais Erasmus is unmoved. England don't review and the replay shows it hit Guptill's hip.
OUT! or is it? Woakes traps Nicholls LBW
But Nicholls reivews
NOT OUT! Great review from Nicholls
He's hit in line but the ball is going over the top. Nicholls survives!
