England won the Cricket World Cup after beating New Zealand in a thriller at Lord’s.
Eoin Morgan’s men survived the drama of a super over after New Zealand's 241-8 was matched by England with Mark Wood run out from the final ball of the innings. Ben Stokes, who scored 84 in the chase, then returned alongside Jos Buttler to hit 15 from six balls before Martin Guptill was run out in dramatic fashion handing the tournament hosts the win.
Here's how one of the most dramatic matches in history played out:

Three singles off de Grandhomme's first four balls. Tom Latham is up to the stumps to stop England's batsmen advancing.
25.0 - Eng 93-4, Buttler 5, Stokes 7, de Grandhomme 1-22 (8.0)
Four singles off the over, but more importantly England rotate the strike.
25.1 - Eng 95-4, Buttler 5, Stokes 9, Neesham 1-5 (1.1)
Stokes drives out to deep cover for a couple. He gets back into his crease for the second but it's sent upstairs for an umpire review.
Stokes is home easily.
26.0 - Eng 98-4, Buttler 7, Stokes 10, Neesham 1-8 (2.0)
Five runs from the over, England are under immense pressure. This match will come down to whoever handles it better.
New Zealand have done it better so far.
26.5 - Eng 98-4, Buttler 7, Stokes 10, de Grandhomme 1-22 (8.5)
Ben Stokes is only the third England batsmen to get into double figures this innings, he probs five dot balls back to de Grandhomme.

A maiden for de Grandhomme. The pressure builds with every dot ball.
27.3 - Eng 103-4, Buttler 8, Stokes 14, Neesham 1-13 (2.3)
Stokes shimmies down the pitch and blasts the ball back at Neesham finding the boundary and bringing up England's hundred.
28.0 - Eng 106-4, Buttler 9, Stokes 15, Neesham 1-16 (3.0)
Eight runs off the over for England and much needed they are. This partnership is crucial every run they can get will strengthen England's resolve and lower New Zealand's.
28.3 - Eng 108-4, Buttler 10, Stokes 16, de Grandhome 1-24 (9.3)
Buttler takes one off the first ball, and Stokes guides de Grandhomme to third man for a single off the third.
de Grandhomme has been brilliant so far.
29.0 - Eng 111-4, Buttler 11, Stokes 16, de Grandhome 1-25 (10.0)
Buttler swipes at the last ball and edges it to third man. It doesn't carry to the fielder and England's keeper gets away with a loose shot.
de Grandhomme finishes with 1-25 from ten overs. Incredible figures but even more so because this is a World Cup final!
