Your support makes all the difference.THERE was not much joy for visiting fans at Sunday's Premier Division games, with the home sides winning all six matches. That meant there was no movement in the league table, writes Steve Pinder.
Fife kept their place at the top with a 10-2 victory against Durham Wasps, despite leading just
3-2 at the end of the first period. The win extends their unbeaten run to 10 games. Cardiff Devils and Murrayfield Racers remain second and third and they both won with ease.
Cardiff met Peterborough Pirates who had won only three from 18. Fifty-eight shots on the Pirates' goal saw Devils win 12-5. The game was put beyond reach with six without reply either side of the first period that put the Welsh side 10-3 up.
Humberside Seahawks held Racers 2-2 in the first period, but the Scots upped a gear to win 15-6. Chris Palmer, Tony Hand and Richard Laplante contributed a total of 10.
The closest game was at Sheffield Steelers when Nottingham Panthers ended the second period 5-4 up. Two goals in a minute in the final period saw Steelers complete a clean sweep for the home clubs.
