Britain beat Belgium 3-0 in their opening tournament game on Friday, writes Brian Tatlock from Barcelona. Southgate, in the men's club competition, drew 2-2 with the Spanish national B side with goals from Sean Kerry and Guy Gisborne. Slough women beat the Spanish First Division side Olimpia 2-1 with goals from Karen Brown and Helen Thornalley.
