That was Colin Montgomerie's warning yesterday from the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles a week before the qualifying race starts in Switzerland. Montgomerie is paired today with Paul Casey, whom he left out of the last Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor.
"No doubt we'll have a chat on the way round," Montgomerie said. "If you base yourself in America you are taking a risk to make the Ryder Cup team, quite simple."
