England's Caroline Hall is out of the Evian Ladies Masters, which starts today, after being admitted to hospital for emergency appendicitis on her arrival in France.

Northumberland's Iain Ferrie and Lincolnshire's Matthew King, never before capped at any level, have been named in the England side for the European youth team championship in Madeira from 10-14 July.
