Your support makes all the difference.Michael Platt has turned away offers from other Super League clubs to sign a two-year contract with Bradford. The 22-year-old full-back, who distinguished himself in Castleford's unsuccessful struggle against relegation, said that the attraction of the Bulls was too strong to resist.
"This is a big move for me after playing at the so-called smaller clubs," said Platt, who previously had stints at Salford and Rochdale, and was a target for Wakefield among others.
"There was interest elsewhere, but once Bradford Bulls came calling I had to take it, as it's just too big to turn down. I was gutted when Cas went down - it's a nice club with good people - but something good has come out of it for me."
The Bulls' coach, Steve McNamara, said: 'He's had a good season for Castleford and fits a lot of criteria in terms of age, speed and attacking quality."
Platt's arrival will speed the departure of Michael Withers to Wigan, while Bradford are expected to confirm the signings of the Cas prop, Danny Ward, and James Evans, the centre who ended the season with Wakefield and will ease the loss of Karl Pryce.
Wigan have denied they are in the hunt for the Parramatta prop, Fuifui Moimoi. He is interesting Hull KR, along with his team-mate Michael Vella.
Tony Benson's job as full-time coach at Leigh is under threat following their failure to win promotion to Super League. Benson has already been told that he will have fewer full-time players to work with.
Hull have added Tommy Lee, Richard Whiting and Matty Dale to their squad for Saturday's Super League Grand Final, although their coach, Peter Sharp, is unlikely to make any changes to the side which beat Bradford to reach Old Trafford.
