Newlove to make belated debut for Castleford

Paul Newlove could play his first competitive game for Castleford at Hull tonight. The former St Helens and Great Britain centre was the Tigers' major close-season signing but damaged a foot in a friendly against Huddersfield and has been outsince then. Now he has been included in the squad for the KC Stadium and will play left centre if he passes a fitness test.

Hull have recalled the former Penrith forward Ryan Benjafield from his loan at York, following the thigh strain that could keep Ewan Dowes out of their Easter programme.

One of Super League's perfect records will go tonight when Leeds face Bradford. Headingley will be a 21,000 sell-out for what the Rhinos' chief executive, Gary Hetherington, calls "the biggest derby in world rugby of either code". The Leeds coach, Tony Smith, has sprung one surprise by relegating Danny McGuire, who was named Super League Player of the Month, to the bench.

In tonight's other game, Jon Wells returns to London's side against his old club, Wakefield, replacing Mark O'Halloran, who has broken his hand. Trinity have the former Dewsbury wing Michael Wainwright making his debut in place of the injured Justin Ryder.
