Your support makes all the difference.An investigation has been launched by the Rugby Football League into how some England players selected for the Test against France later this month learnt of the honour from a leak on the internet after a sealed area in the RFL's website was hacked into.
Tony Smith, the England coach, managed to contact some players in the normal way, but Huddersfield's Scott Moore learnt of his selection via a chat room. "I'm upset that the players weren't the first to know," Smith said yesterday. "I think they deserve that. I hope we can trap whoever did it. That phone call to a player should be a great honour."
Moore, on loan from St Helens, is one of three uncapped players in the 19-man squad.
Queensland beat New South Wales 28-18 in the first State of Origin match of the series, played in Melbourne.
