The Australian forward is back after missing Trinity's last two games with a knee injury, replacing Steve Snitch, who has an ankle problem. "He is 100 per cent fit," his coach, Shane McNally, said. "He passed a fitness test last week, but just lacked a little confidence."
Wakefield's virtually clean bill of health is one reason they quietly fancy their chances at the JJB. Another is the form of their Kiwi forward, David Solomona, picked out this week as the major threat by the Wigan coach, Mike Gregory. "It's taken him a while to adapt, but it was always our intention to have him working with Sid Domic and he created a nice try for him at Salford last week," McNally said.
Wigan's forward strength is improved by the return of Andy Farrell and Mick Cassidy.
Huddersfield will have their Australian prop, Jim Gannon, back for the first time in seven weeks for their tie against York on Sunday. Gannon has recovered from a damaged thumb.
Rochdale's coach, Bobbie Goulding, has talked to Radney Bowker, who was released by the London Broncos this week, about rejoining Hornets, for whom he played last season.
