Fozzard sidelined as Saints injuries mount
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

The front-rower ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the opening minutes of the victory at Bradford on Friday night.
He joins fellow props Jason Cayless and Maurie Fa'asavalu on the injured list, with another prop, Gareth Frodsham, still recovering from concussion after the Odsal match and several other forwards also out of action.
Despite that toll, Saints' coach, Daniel Anderson, says he does not intend to venture into the transfer market. "I'm not envisaging going anywhere," he said. "We just have to hold the line and wait for the cavalry to arrive."
Warrington are still waiting for a report on Simon Grix, who was carried off at Hull KR with an ankle injury, which the club fear will add him to their long-term casualty list.
Rovers' Stanley Gene, placed on report for the tackle which apparently caused Grix to collapse on his ankle, will face a charge of tackling high at the RFL's disciplinary hearing today.
Phil Bailey of Wigan and the Catalan Dragons' David Ferriol are both charged with dangerous tackles, but Bradford's Leon Pryce has been told there is no case to answer over two incidents in the match against Wigan.
Wakefield will be without three of their most experienced players for extended periods, thanks to injuries suffered in their defeat at Harlequins on Saturday. Brad Drew will be out for three months with a fractured hand, while Jason Demetriou and Tony Martin will both miss a month with ankle and hamstring injuries respectively.
