Your support makes all the difference.The former St Helens coach Daniel Anderson has ruled himself out of a return to the club and backed the team to turn their season round under Royce Simmons.
Anderson was confirmed yesterday as coach of the Exiles team to play England in two internationals this summer. The first game, at Saints' new home, Langtree Park, on 16 June, will bring Anderson back to the town where he enjoyed such success from 2005 to 2008. He denied, however, that he had any ambition to return to club rugby. He has been working in the media since being sacked by Parramatta last season and will coach Samoa in next year's World Cup.
"I'm enjoying what I'm doing now and I don't have the burning desire to get back into [club] coaching," he said.
Saints have taken just one point from their last four games, arousing speculation over Simmons's future. But Anderson said: "They'll be fine; they'll come good."
