The Workington Town prop Mark Cox has been suspended for a total of four months after being found guilty of breaching the game's doping regulations and racially abusing an opponent.
Cox, who played in Super League with the London Broncos in 2003, returned a sample containing the stimulant ephedrine in September last year - an offence for which he has been banned for three months. He has also been found guilty of racially abusing Swinton's Phil Joseph during a National League Two match the same month and suspended for an extra month.
