Your support makes all the difference.Hull went on a 15-try rampage to chalk up their record Super League victory, 82-6, against newly promoted Salford yesterday. After their first victory in 10 years at Bradford a week ago, Hull turned on the style with their full-back Shaun Briscoe leading the charge with a second successive hat-trick. Briscoe made it seven tries in two games as he helped his side tear the heart out of Salford.
Hull led 10-6 after tries from Richard Whiting and Gareth Raynor, with the visitors replying through Stuart Littler, but then cut loose with four tries in a 10-minute spell just before half-time. Garreth Carvell and Briscoe both touched down twice as Hull pulled away. That gave them a 32-0 lead and they added another six tries in the opening 14 minutes of the second half.
Wakefield Trinity were also in a free-scoring mood, chalking up seven tries in their opening Super League win of the season - 40-10 over Widnes - their first top-flight success over the Wildcats in seven meetings. Two tries in three minutes after the interval, from Jamie Field and Sid Domic, both converted by the man of the match, David March, who scored 16 points, fuelled Wakefield's attacking confidence.
