Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference. The Catalan Dragons' leading light, Thomas Bosc, is poised to return to Super League tomorrow after a frustrating eight months on the sidelines.
The French international stand-off has not played since rupturing his knee last August, but has come through two games with the Dragons' feeder club.
Now he is set to make his senior comeback against Hull, despite the Catalans' stunning recent record of beating Warrington and Wigan in quick succession.
"I have to put my hand up for a place against Hull," he said. "The team is in great shape and full of confidence following the recent victories so I need to get to that level pretty quickly."
Hull have dropped their winger, Will Sharp, for the trip to Perpignan, with Reece Lyne and Richard Whiting vying to take his place.
Wigan have left Darrell Goulding and Amos Roberts out of their squad to face Hull KR tonight.
Warrington are ready to field 21-year-old winger Rhys Williams against Crusaders, the club with whom he spent a successful spell on loan.
