Neville Callaghan's colt was trying a mile and a quarter for the first time and the champion jockey had few doubts about his mount's stamina as he booted him into the lead with three furlongs to go.
Simon Callaghan, representing his father, said: "He stayed this trip well and Frankie has given him a nice ride. We'll keep him at this distance. "
Holland had earlier been unseated by Celebration Song a furlong from the stalls on the way to the start. He was taken by stretcher from the track and taken to the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, for a precautionary x-ray examination on his right ankle.
Ladbrokes will sponsor the entire seven-race card at Lingfield on 9 July when the Group Three Ladbrokes Silver Trophy will be the first British Group race ever staged on an all-weather surface. The two-day meeting has been transferred from Ascot.
