Pidcock himself scored twice in their 5-1 EHA Cup second-round victory at home to Coalville on Sunday, Midgeley adding another.
Down in the West, Bath Buccaneers continued their good run with a 4-1 away League win at Bristol University. Two goals came from the 19-year-old James Munne-Young, who followed up with a hat-trick in their 6-1 Cup win away to Penzance.
In the East, Pelicans have moved clear at the top of the Crowe Insurance Premier following a 3-0 win at Long Sutton with goals from Danny Young, Steve Linford and Paul Swinburn. Linford, Steve Long and Ian Symonds each scored a brace in their 8-1 Cup win against Lincoln. Captain Sean Kerry and Swinburn also netted.
Cambridge City had a 4-2 win at Anchorians in the Women's East Premier, Liane Shadrack adding two goals to the four she scored last week.
South Premier leaders Eastcote dropped points in a 2-2 draw with City of Portsmouth.
