Your support makes all the difference.World champion Amir Khan yesterday admitted a British superfight against Ricky Hatton was a possibility as he prepares to defend his WBA light-welterweight title.
Khan, who takes on mandatory challenger Dmitri Salita in Newcastle on Saturday, told BBC Radio 5 Live's Sportsweek programme: "It is not nonsense. It is a fight that could happen because we are both at the same weights, I am a world champion now, Ricky has come back into the game again from retirement and he wants another shot at a world title.
Khan added: "It is just a shame we are at the same weight because we are good friends. But business is business and sometimes you have to fight your friends." Khan has been training alongside Manny Pacquiao – the man who defeated Hatton earlier this year – in preparation for his first defence.
