Indianapolis pulled off the second biggest comeback in NFL play-off history to stun Kansas City, while New Orleans beat Philadelphia on the last play of the game as the first wild-card games provided a thrilling start to the post-season.

Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck threw four second-half touchdown passes and scored on a fumble recovery, leading the Colts back from a 28-point deficit to an historic 45-44 victory over the Chiefs. .

In Philadelphia, Shayne Graham – who was only signed by New Orleans just over two weeks ago – kicked a 32-yard field goal on the final play to give the Saints a 26-24 win.

Last night the San Diego Chargers took full advantage of a second-half meltdown by the Cincinnati Bengals to claim a 27-10 AFC wild-card win and move onto the divisional playoffs against the Denver Broncos.
