Your support makes all the difference.The outgoing Belfast Giants coach, Dave Whistle, is giving nothing away over the possibility of taking several players with him to Germany next season.
Whistle is ending his three-year tenure at the Odyssey Arena to take over at DEL side Iserlohn Roosters. The Canadian bowed out in the best possible way by leading the Giants to Superleague play-off glory, beating London Knights 5-3 at Nottingham's National Ice Centre on Sunday. Goaltender Ryan Bach and defenceman Robby Sandrock have been tipped to follow Whistle to Iserlohn. "I am sure I will be getting a lot of calls", Whistle said after adding the play-off trophy to the league title Belfast won last season.
"But I don't have all the say in it. I had them come over last week to look at some players. I know a lot of players could play there. I am going over next week to go over the budget and things like that. It's new to me and I will wait to get told what to do."
