The top eight countries on points earned in Samsung Nations Cups will qualify for the new league, with the lowest two being replaced by the best two in the regional leagues at the end of each season.
At La Baule, where the first European Nations Cup of the year was staged last month, Britain was unlucky to get no further than the first round after a faultless performance from Di Lampard on Abbervail Dream and single errors from Veronique Whitaker on Eldorado and Tim Stockdale on Parcival.
Lampard and Stockdale are now in Lucerne, where Richard Davenport and Mark Armstrong will join them for tomorrow's Nations Cup. They will all be hoping to earn Britain's first points towards the Super League.
