Your support makes all the difference.New Zealand's Pero Cameron is rejoining the Chester Jets for the new season after abandoning plans to play in Italy. Cameron had hoped to attract some offers as captain of the 'Tall Blacks' at the Sydney Olympics, but the Jets coach Robbie Peers said Cameron was returning for a third season after leading the club to its first silverware, the uniball Trophy, last season, with an MVP-winning performance.
Peers said: "He has a major impact on our team chemistry and possesses an excellent temperament."
James Hamilton has also re-signed for next season, while Peers has added two Americans to the team – Billy Keys and Calvin Davis.
The new coach of the Edinburgh Rocks, Kevin Wall, has recaptured two players who left the club at the end of the 1999-2000 season: Brendan Graves, a 6ft 9in Canadian, after a season with Manchester Giants; and 6ft 10in Stuart Mackay after playing for Thames Valley Tigers.
