Britain's Greg Rutherford and Goldie Sayers both claimed victories in Rabat, Morocco last night. Rutherford won the long jump with a best effort of 8.17m ahead of Aleksandr Menkov of Russia and fellow Briton Chris Tomlinson, who leapt 8.01m. Sayers won the women's javelin with a throw of 62.35m, almost two metres better than nearest challenger Katharina Molitor of Germany.
World champion Dai Greene was second behind former world and Olympic champion Felix Sanchez in the 400m hurdles.
