Your support makes all the difference.Tom Brady threw a career-high six touchdown passes to help the unbeaten New England Patriots to crush the Miami Dolphins, who are still without a win, 49-28 on Sunday.
Brady passed for an impressive 291 yards in a 42-7 Patriots' first-half lead and had 354 yards passing for the game as New England improved to seven and zero. Brady completed his first 11 passes and was 16 of 19 passes in the first half and 21 of 25 for the game. He now has 27 touchdown passes this season.
"It makes my job easy when those guys [his receivers] are making those plays," Brady said. "It is easy as a quarterback if you've got guys open and every time you throw it, they catch it."
Randy Moss and Wes Welker each caught two touchdown passes. Moss hauled in tosses of 35 and 50 yards for second-quarter scores. He caught four passes for 122 yards in the game. Welker had a 14-yard score from Brady in the second quarter, then caught Brady's 16-yard pass for a fourth-quarter touchdown. Brady also threw 30 yards to Donte Stallworth and two to Kyle Brady for first-quarter touchdowns.
Rob Bironas kicked an NFL record eighth field goal as time expired to lift the Tennessee Titans (4-2) to a 38-36 win over the Houston Texans. Bironas's 29-yard effort wiped out a 36-35 come-from-behind lead by the Texans (3-4), who scored their 29th point of the fourth quarter with 57 seconds left. Bironas kicked field goals of 52, 25, 21, 30, 28, 43, 29 and 29 yards to beat the previous record of seven in a game.
Tony Romo completed 31 of 39 passes for 277 yards as the Dallas Cowboys (6-1) beat the Minnesota Vikings 24-14.
The New York Giants (5-2) won their fifth straight game, a 33-15 home victory over the San Francisco 49ers (2-4).
