England are into the semi-finals of a World Cup for the first time since 1990, having beaten Sweden 2-0 in the last eight in Russia.

Goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli saw Gareth Southgate’s men make history, with a first final appearance since 1966 now within reaching distance for the Three Lions.

England meet Croatia in the last four after Luka Modric and his teammates beat Russia 4-3 on penalties. Their game ended 2-2 after extra-time in Sochi.
