Diego Maradona made his allegiances clear before England's crucial World Cup 2018 round-of-16 tie on Tuesday evening, posting a video on social media wearing a Colombia shirt.

"Vamos Colombia!" Maradona cheered into the camera shortly before kick-off.

Maradona has an infamous history with England, having scored the ‘Hand of God’ goal which helped Argentina win their 1986 World Cup quarter-final.

He has already made headlines during Argentina's group stage in Russia after receiving medical assistance after watching their 2-1 victory over Nigeria.
