Manchester United confirmed they would not take up the option to buy Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.

After just one loan season at Old Trafford - which cost the club a £6million loan fee and around £265,000-a-week in wages - the club announced they would be sending the Colombian flop back to Monaco.
