The club have made their second signing of the transfer window, securing Charleroi midfielder Adlène Guedioura on loan.

The 24-year-old Frenchman moves to Molineux until the end of the season, with Wolves then having the option to make the deal permanent. The midfielder follows team-mate Geoffrey Mujangi Bia in making the move from Charleroi to Mick McCarthy's side, and could feature against Liverpool this evening should international clearance arrive on time. Meanwhile, full-back Matt Hill has joined QPR on a five-month loan, in order to gain more first-team action.

Fowler stays put after 'misunderstanding'

North Queensland Fury have insisted former Liverpool and England striker Robbie Fowler will remain with the Australian side, despite a "misunderstanding" that led to the 34-year-old sitting out Saturday's match with Brisbane. "There was a misunderstanding and that's all it was," chairman Don Matheson said. "Ian [Ferguson, the manager] wanted to play a particular formation and Robbie believed he wasn't part of the squad. We've sorted that out. He is not leaving the club." Fowler has scored nine goals for Fury this season, but just once in the last 11 games.
