Luis Suarez has given yet another interview in his native Uruguay that signals the striker's readiness to leave Liverpool.

The former Ajax player, who revealed earlier this summer that he is unhappy at Anfield and in particular with his treatment by the British press, has said he will return to pre-season training as planned on July 21.

However, the 26-year-old added that one phone call could change everything.

"My agent is in charge, he knows what I want," Suarez is quoted as telling Sport890.

"I am resting and relaxed. I am due back on July 21."

It emerged this week that Suarez was the subject of a £30m bid from Arsenal, an offer that was rejected out of hand by the hierarchy at Anfield. The interest from the Gunners has been welcomed by Suarez, who is desperate to be playing in the Champions League next term. However, suggestions that he could move to Chelsea have been laughed off by Suarez.

"It is good to know that I am still valued by teams like Arsenal. Friends call me up to ask if I am moving to Chelsea, ha ha I said.

"Now there are two or three options and the club knows. There are no (other) offers yet but Liverpool FC know exactly what is going on and what I want. A phone call could change everything."

Suarez has spoken about a move to Real Madrid in the past and it's expected the Spanish club will make a firm offer during the transfer window. Should Arsenal be serious about signing the Uruguay international, they will need to return with a much higher bid.
