Your support makes all the difference.Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given has admitted he may be forced to consider a transfer should Joe Hart be chosen ahead of him in the forthcoming campaign.
The pair will be contesting the No 1 spot at Eastlands this season following the return of Hart from a loan spell at Birmingham and Given is aware that his team-mate could push for a starting place.
"If I don't start [against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday] then I will sit down with the club next week and see where my future lies," the Republic of Ireland international said. "I'm 34 and I haven't got millions of years left to play.
"Ideally I would stay, [but] there could be a loan and then I'd come back and see where that takes me."
The Everton manager, David Moyes, has insisted that the Toffees will only sell players should the club require funds, but feels the current squad can succeed this season.
Steven Pienaar and Phil Jagielka have both been linked with moves away from Goodison Park this summer. "If the club need money we have players we can sell," Moyes said. "But we don't, that isn't the case. We are happy to keep the squad. I think the team we have has got a really good chance of doing well."
