West Bromwich hope to secure the futures of loanees Youssouf Mulumbu and Juan Carlos Menseguez, despite doubts over the future of manager Tony Mowbray. Menseguez would cost around £1m from San Lorenzo, while Paris St-Germain winger Mulumbu is rated at £200,000.

Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas has moved to dismiss rumours of a move to Barcelona. "I see my future at Arsenal," he said. "The boss knows I really want to stay.
