Burnley manager Owen Coyle says hopes of a move for Ecuador winger Fernando Guerrero are still alive, despite the player returning to Independiente del Valle. "He's gone back, but I will have dialogue with them," Coyle said of the 19-year-old.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent will undergo a medical today ahead of a proposed move to Sunderland. The forward was ordered off a Spurs plane bound for China on Monday as his move to Wearside neared completion.

Zola hopes to keep Neill

"There has been no progress whatsoever," Redknapp said of discussions with the 33-year-old French international. "Whether it happens now I am not sure."
