Your support makes all the difference.Barcelona midfielder Xavi has denied that he is considering leaving Barcelona in the near future.
The midfielder expressed his determination to stay at the club and praised new coach Gerardo Martino.
Xavi has recently been strongly linked with moves to New York Red Bulls or more surprisingly Qatar.
However the Spanish star has now stated that he wants to remain exactly where he is.
"I’m not going to Qatar or New York, I want to finish my contract with Barca," Xavi told the official club website.
"I’m staying here, I feel important and useful.
"I’ve been here for many years, there are a lot of memories and we’ve won a lot of titles with this generation of footballers, one look back and you realise that we’ve really enjoyed ourselves."
He also moved to praise his new manager Martino.
He added: "Tata is doing an incredible job with the team."
Barcelona are currently level with Atletico Madrid at the top of the La Liga table, a point ahead of Real Madrid.
