Your support makes all the difference.Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood has said it would cost any potential clubs £100million to buy goalkeeper Hugo Lloris when the transfer market reopens this summer.
The French stopper is believed to want a move away from White Hart Lane in order to play Champions League football but Sherwood claims it would take a record breaking bid to persuade Chairman David Levy to part with him.
Spurs signed the French number one from Lyon in 2011 for a fee of £11million and has been one of their most consistent performers this season, keeping twelve clean sheets in the league.
Ligue I leaders Paris Saint Germain are believed to be readying a possible bid for Lloris this summer.
Tottenham currently sit seventh in the Premier League and will need a superb finish to the season if they are to have any chance of securing European football next year.
Sherwood told the Sunday Mirror: “He is one of the top goalies and unless someone is going to spend £100m on him, and keepers do not get bought for that money, I don't think he will leave.
“He is one of the best keepers around. Of course people are going to want him. But I'm also sure the club won't be tempted to get rid of him.
“It was only that kind of figure that tempted the club to sell Gareth Bale and he desperately wanted to leave to progress his career at Real Madrid.”
