Having lost Yohaan Cabaye in the most recent transfer window, Newcastle fans should perhaps brace themselves for losing another midfielder. Reports in the Daily Star claim Manchester United are readying a move for their Ivorian spoiler Cheick Tiote. David Moyes reportedly tried to sign Tiote when at Everton and has not lost interest.

It could be a revolving door at Old Trafford this summer and the latest player linked with an exit is captain Nemanja Vidic. According to reports in Italy, Inter Milan are close to agreeing a deal for the Serbian defender. The 32-year-old is out of contract in the summer.

Perhaps one of the more surprising rumours to emerge is that Ashley Cole could be set for a return to Arsenal - the club he left so controversially. The England international is out of contract in the summer and with Cesar Azpilicueta emerging as Jose Mourinho's first choice left-back at Chelsea, it seems likely the 33-year-old will move on. Cole has been heavily linked with a lucrative move to the MLS, but a shorter trip to north London could be on the cards.

According to Paul Ince his son Tom rejected a return to Liverpool last month. The young midfielder instead joined Crystal Palace on loan. According to his father, the decision was taken to help his progression and a club like Liverpool would be a better move in a couple of years.

Chelsea

manager Jose Mourinho is thinking big when it comes to the summer window. According to The Sun, he's put Mario Mandzukic, Diego Costa and Edinson Cavani on his transfer wish list. That sounds expensive.
