Chelsea are preparing to offer Loic Remy as well as £65m for Romelu Lukaku, according to reports.

The Everton striker is itching to leave Goodison Park, having arrived on Merseyside from Chelsea for £28m two years ago.

Lukaku, who has three years remaining on his current contract, has scored 45 goals in the time since and, according to the Daily Telegraph, tops Antonio Conte’s list of striking targets.

Remy, meanwhile, was a long-term target for Steve Walsh, Everton’s new director of football, during his time at Leicester City.

According to reports in Italy, Paul Pogba will undergo a medical on Thursday ahead of his record-breaking move to Manchester United.

Il Tempo, the Rome-based daily, reports that the Juventus midfielder’s return to Old Trafford is now a mere formality and will be confirmed in the coming days.

Transfer window done deals and rumours

Julian Draxler, who has long been linked with Arsenal, has revealed that he wants to leave Wolfsburg.

The 22-year-old Germany international told Bild: “Two days after the semi-final at the Euro I explained my point of view and expressed my wish that I want to leave the club.

“Now I'm back in Germany and things are being communicated via the media rather than with me in person. Now I also wanted to make myself heard."

Jese Rodriguez will be swapping Real Madrid for Paris Saint-Germain after the Ligue 1 club’s €25m (£21m) offer was accepted.

Liverpool were also linked with the winger, who moves in search of more regular playing time.

Swansea City have rejected Everton’s £10m offer for Ashley Williams, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Huw Jenkins, the Swans chairman, has “put the brakes on the deal” and forced the Merseyside club to go away and consider increasing their bid.
