Manchester United are pursuing summer moves for Toni Kroos and Marco Reus following the club-record transfer of Juan Mata, according to reports in Germany.

David Moyes announced following the arrival of Mata that he would look to add players of the same quality and it appears he has cast his eye towards Germany.

The United manager has recently been spotted on various European scouting visits including Bayern Munich's recent game with Borussia Monchengladbach, where he could have seen Kroos in action.

The Bayern midfielder has 18 months left on his contract and United are reportedly hoping that the German club's midfield riches encourage him to seek football elsewhere.

Dortmund star Reus is also reportedly a target for Moyes and while he has a reported £30m buyout clause, it is not active until 2015.
