The 21-year-old midfielder has been in flying form for Atletico Madrid this season, helping the club to their lofty position in the La Liga table, and quite rightly has attracted the attention of several big European clubs.
David Moyes' search for midfield reinforcements has been well documented and Koke was thought to be near the top of his list of targets this January.
However now reports in the Spanish media suggest that Pep Guardiola is keen to bring the player dubbed the 'next Xavi' to Munich.
Manchester United must be hoping this is not the case having already lost out to Guardiola's side when trying to sign Tiago this summer.
However Bayern Munich unlike United already have a wealth of midfield talent so perhaps the lure of first team football will prove to be to Moyes' advantage.
