The Brazilian midfielder would reportedly command a fee of around £30m if Manchester United wanted to add him to their squad.
Moyes saw Moura in action this week when he took in PSG's win over Bordeaux in the French League Cup.
United are desperate to add some much needed class to their midfield before the end of the January transfer window and Moyes has reportedly highlighted the Brazilian as being one such player who could do so.
However it remains to be seen whether PSG would be prepared to sell a player for whom they paid a hefty transfer fee and whether United match their valuation of the player.
Moura has won 31 caps for Brazil and is expected to be part of their World Cup squad.
