Nemanja Vidic has reportedly agreed a deal that will take him to Inter Milan in the summer.

The Manchester United captain revealed earlier this month that he would leave Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of the season.

In his announcement, the 31-year-old made clear his next club would not be another in the Premier League and it quickly transpired that a move to Italy was most likely.

He said: "I'm not considering staying in England as the only club I ever wanted to play for here is Manchester United."

Having been linked with Monaco and Juventus, reports today suggest he has narrowed it down to Serie A side Inter Milan.

Goal.com claims he will sign a two-year deal (one more year than Manchester United were willing to offer) worth around £2.5m-a-year.

Because Vidic is in the final six-months of his contract he has been free to discuss terms with other clubs. Goal.com claims a representative from Inter Milan was at United's recent Premier League 0-0 draw against Arsenal where talks advanced.

Vidic joined Manchester United from Spartak Moscow in 2006 and has won five Premier League titles and the Champions League in his time at the club.
