Your support makes all the difference.Liverpool had all but completed a deal to sign the Ukraine forward Yevhen Konoplyanka from Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on Friday after a day of tough negotiations, but the move fell apart in the final minutes of transfer deadline day.
The club had agreed a €15m (£12.3m) fee with Dnipro for the 24-year-old, as well as a four-and-a half year contract worth €70,000 (£57,000) per week.
Though Tottenham denied that they were in the race for Konoplyanka, sources in Ukraine, where Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre was involved in a frantic attempt to complete the deal, had suggested that there was stiff competition for him.
