Welcome along to Monday’s transfer news live as we follow all the latest rumours, gossip and done deals from the Premier League and around Europe, as a January exodus brews with stars from Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham and more looking to find first-team football away from the English top flight.

Dele Alli is pushing for a departure from Tottenham Hotspur and could get his wish with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this month, where his former Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is in charge. Pochettino, who is currently isolating after testing positive for coronavirus, enjoyed a positive relationship with Dele during his time in north London and is reported to be keen to add the England international’s firepower to an already superb attack which includes Neymar, Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe, while Dele searches for first-team football ahead of this summer’s rearranged Euro 2020.

Manchester United could also see a midfielder walk out the door as Juan Mata weighs up the possibility of a return to Valencia. Mata began his professional career at the Liga club as a teammate of David Villa, having come through the ranks at Real Madrid, but financial difficulties forced Valencia to sell their top stars and Mata has made a fine career predominantly in England with Chelsea and United. Now he could be returning to Spain, according to the Sun.

Mesut Ozil will be announced by Fenerbahce today after flying to Turkey to conclude the deal. Ozil has been pushed out by Mikel Arteta at Arsenal, excluded from the Premier League squad, and his seven-year stay in north London comes to ignominious end as he exits via the back door on a free transfer. SPURS’ HARVEY WHITE ON PORTSMOUTH LOAN

“I played in the Marine (FA Cup) game and got a call a few days later to say that Pompey were interested.

“Straight away I thought it was a great move for me and that I could learn a lot. I’m finally here and really excited.

“This is my first loan and it’s going to be really challenging. I’ve been in a men’s football environment for around eight months now, but this will be different.

“I really love my set-pieces and look to keep the ball moving. I get a lot of assists and like to think I’m effective.

“There’s a game tomorrow and then one on every Saturday and Tuesday, so there are a lot of them coming up.

“Hopefully I can stamp my mark and get on the pitch to help this team get promoted back to the Championship.

“I’m looking to improve during my time here and see where it takes me because I want to play at the highest level.”

BOURNEMOUTH BOSS ON WILSHERE SIGNING

Bournemouth manager Jason Tindall has spoken about the signing of Jack Wilshere on a free transfer.

"We're delighted to get it agreed," he told BBC Radio Solent. "I've been really pleased with what I've seen since he's been training with us.

"There's no doubting Jack's quality. In his own words, he feels he's got 'unfinished business' here and he was a huge part of our most successful time."

ATLETICO & REAL MADRID INTERESTED IN LACAZETTE

Both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are considering a move for Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to AS.

The Frenchman has yet to sign a new contract at the Emirates and there remain doubts over his long-term future with the club.

Despite Lacazette's recent resurgence in form - he has scored four goals in his last four games - the Gunners have been linked with Brentford striker Ivan Toney and appear to be considering their options in attack.

Atletico are believed to be looking for a new striker after terminating Diego Costa's contract, while Real Madrid want to sign a forward who can act as backup to Karim Benzema.

WEST HAM BID FOR SEVILLA STRIKER ‘INSUFFICIENT’

West Ham's £27m bid for Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri is "clearly insufficient", claim Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo.

The Hammers will have to make a "significantly higher" offer if they want to prise the 23-year-old away from the Spanish club.

ALLARDYCE REVEALS WEST BROM’S ‘BIG TASK’ IN JANUARY WINDOW

West Brom boss Sam Allardyce has admitted the club will find it difficult to sign players in the January transfer window but insisted "quality" additions are necessary.

“It’s a huge amount of work and seems to be more active than anything else I’ve experienced," he told talkSPORT. “There seem to be players available across every part of the world at the moment.

“In our position, it’s difficult to trade. We can offer them a chance to come and play for us but we cannot buy them outright at this moment in time, so we are looking at loans. There’s a possibility that we have a loan with a view to buying the player if we stay in the Premier League.

“That makes it difficult for me to get the quality of player I want but we continue to push. A quality player, or two quality players, or possibly even three quality players, would be good. That is a big task but it is what we must try and achieve by the end of January."
