At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Henry marked his return from Major League Soccer with the winner against Leeds in the FA Cup at the Emirates, and Keane has linked up with Villa until the end of next month.
The former Tottenham striker said: "Can I do a Thierry Henry? I hope so. It would be great to do that. If I can do something like that in the six [League] games and help the team, that is great."
The Blackburn Rovers manager, Steve Kean, has confirmed that his club have rejected two bids for defender Christopher Samba and reiterated that the player is not for sale. Samba has been linked with moves to Tottenham and QPR, while interest from Paris St-Germain has also been mooted. "We put out a club statement saying that Chris was not for sale and as far as I am concerned, there is a line drawn under it," Kean said.
However, Samba has said he is looking to leave Ewood Park this month. "Lately, mentally, it has been difficult," Samba told L'Equipe. "I tried to maintain my level of performance but I sense that it is time for a change. The club doesn't evolve at all. I'm resigned."
Everton are keen to sign Manchester United's Darron Gibson. The Republic of Ireland midfielder, 24, is believed to want regular first-team football to keep himself in contention for Euro 2012. He is expected to cost £2m.
Swansea have reached an agreement to loan Josh McEachran from Chelsea but will have to wait before the midfielder can complete the move to south Wales.
