Your support makes all the difference.Jose Mourinho has been dealt a considerable blow to his January transfer window plans after Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio revealed that the San Siro club have no intention of selling Fredy Guarin.
The Blues manager had earmarked the £14m-rated midfielder as a possible addition to his side, especially considering that the likelihood of Juan Mata leaving Stamford Bridge appears to increasing with every passing day.
But Inter's sporting director Ausilio insists that the 27-year-old is going nowhere after it was revealed last month that Chelsea had sent representatives to Milano to hold talks with the Colombian international.
He said: "Guarin is an Inter player and we are happy to keep him.
"Denying the contacts with Chelsea would be denying the evidence.
"It is a source of pride to talk with them about one of our players, but everything stopped there.
"We are happy Guarin could stay with us for a long time. We don't have the intention to sell him. He's an important player."
After Chelsea's 2-0 victory over Derby County in the FA Cup third round, Mourinho admitted that it 'hurts' to leave Mata out of the side.
"I try to do my job forgetting that I am a soft heart and pretending that I am a hard heart," the 50-year-old said.
"With decisions I have to make, many times it hurts me, many times it hurts him. But the best way to do my job is to think that the team is more important than any player.
"When I have to make decisions, I always try to be a cold one, icy, analysing the situation and trying to make the best decision for the team. But yes, it hurts me."
