Spurs have agreed a club-record fee of £65m with Lyon for Ndombele, who cost the French club just £7m last summer from Amiens, with the 22-year-old set to sign a five-year deal, according to Sky Sports.
Clarke, 18, made several standout appearances for Leeds last season and is set to move for around £10m, according to the former Yorkshire Evening Post chief football writer Phil Hay. The deal includes a sell-on clause and Leeds will be afforded first option on any potential loan deal.
Spurs are also closely monitoring Spain Under-21 captain Dani Ceballos, whose stellar performances at the Under-21 European Championship have seen Real Madrid place a €50m price tag on the 22-year-old’s head, according to AS.
Spurs could hijack Arsenal’s move for Saint Etienne defender William Saliba with the offer of Champions League football, The Mirror reports, after Arsenal’s opening £27m bid was rejected, and are chasing highly rated Danish winger Andres Olsen, who is valued at around £15m by his club, FC Nordsjaelland.
Juventus are ready to challenge Serie A rivals Napoli for Kieran Trippier’s signature, with Spurs holding out for £25m for the out-of-sorts full-back, The Mirror adds. Juve are looking for a replacement for Manchester City target Joao Cancelo.
Toby Alderweireld is attracting attention from Roma, according to Tutto Mercato Web, and as the Belgian defender enters the last year of his contract he is available for around £25m.
