Mauricio Pochettino appears ready to make a splash in the final week of the transfer window with Tottenham in talks with several targets.

After the arrival of Tanguy Ndombele, Spurs could further strengthen with the addition of Bruno Fernandes.

The Sporting star could represent a replacement for Christian Eriksen, with Spurs already bidding three times for the goalscoring midfielder, according to A Bola.

The latest of which was £40m plus a further £8m in add-ons, but the Portuguese giants want to hold out for £63m.

President Federico Varandas is thought to have ensured the player they will not be unreasonable, though time is running out for a compromise.

Real Madrid are another contender though, with Record insisting Zinedine Zidane could add the Portuguese star as he looks for a goalscoring midfielder.

Donny van de Beek, who has also been linked to Spurs in the past, looks to be the more likely option to move to the Bernabeu though.

Algemeen Dagblad insist the Dutch international has rejected a new deal.

Giovani Lo Celso is another target Spurs are determined to sign and have been linked with all summer. Onda Cero in Spain report the Londoners are best-placed to sign the Argentine, who has made it clear this week he wants to leave before the end of the English transfer deadline next week.

Betis are holding out for €75m to ensure they profit significantly though despite Paris Saint-Germain taking a significant cut.

The Mail report that Ryan Sessegnon could finally join Spurs, with a £30m deal set to be enough to land the English talent.

The left-sided player has long-since been linked with joining Pochettino's side and Fulham may finally blink at £30m.
